1 dead, 2 hospitalized after two-vehicle crash on Burritt Rd in Parma

MONROE COUNTY, NY – One person lost their life early Sunday as a result of a two-vehicle collision near Parma that left two other people hurt, reports 13 ABC WHAM.

The accident unfolded on a stretch of Burritt Road near Butcher Road, prompting a response from Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies at about 1:00 a.m.

The events leading up to the crash have not been disclosed, but officers arrived on the scene to find that one of the drivers had passed away. Their passenger was rushed to an area hospital and is expected to survive.

The other driver, who was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, has since been arrested and faces charges.

An investigation remains underway and those involved have not been identified, but officials have indicated that the decedent was a 2023 graduate of Spencerport High School.
